Hello... Just wondering if all motherboards support all different types of fans. Also I'm a first time builder so I have much experience with this... I'm just missing a few parts and got stuck on how many fans/what types of fans to use. So far I'm going to get the:
Asus M5A97 LE R2.0 motherboard
Fx 6300 processor
AMD Radeon™ HD 7870 GHz Graphic card
g skill intl f3-2400c10-8gtx 8gb ram
Internal SSD Serial ATA-600 2.5" GT Hard Drive. I'd like some recommendations about the fans and power supply that I should buy. Any other tips would be appreciated as well!!
Thanks!!!

Solution
Most fans are universal, they run on a 3/4 pin connector generally. For example your motherboard has 1 x CPU Fan connector(s) (4 -pin) and 3 x Chassis Fan connector(s) (4 -pin). So you have spots for your CPU fan plus 3 other fans of your choice (I recommend 120mm)

You'll be able to control the speeds of these fans using software like Speedfan.
