Hi I've been getting the BSOD BAD_POOL_CALLER, and I was wondering if anyone could tell me what I need to do to fix this. I just installed windows 8.1 and Battlefield 4 so it must have something to do with one of those two things I'd assume.

Below is a link to a .dmp file. (I hope I did it correctly)

Possible bad RAM. Run memtest86+ and see if you get any errors.

bf4.exe made calls to the ati graphics driver, looks like atikmdag.sys attempted to free memory twice.

I would look for a update for your graphics driver
driver was dated: Sep 10 19:45:14 2013

most likely a driver bug rather than a physical RAM issue in this case
-----------
BAD_POOL_CALLER (c2)
The current thread is making a bad pool request. Typically this is at a bad IRQL level or double freeing the same allocation, etc.
Arguments:
Arg1: 0000000000000007, Attempt to free pool which was already freed
Arg2: 0000000000001205, (reserved)
Arg3: 0000000005030251, Memory contents of the pool block
Arg4: ffffc00022499c70, Address of the block of pool being deallocated

There is an issue with the ATI Graphics cards. I solved this issue (after deep diving the web for solutions) by updating the "AMD Catalyst Package" (http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop?os=Window...).

- Install using the CUSTOM setting
- follow instructions BUT in the checkbox window showing the individual elements UNCHECK the Catalyst Control Center
- restart and the game ran and cycled fine for me

Good Luck
