Hi, im looking to upgrade my motherborad and to save money i am going to use this case that i have
HP COMPAQ Presario

but this says that the Forum factor is DIMM 240-pin
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883109040

but this says that its a MicroATX 24.5 cm (9.6 inches) x 24.5 cm (9.6 inches)

so if i get a motherboard thats 9.6 x 9.6, it should fit right? cuz i found this ASUS with the same dimensions.

Yes, that motherboard should fit. Don't worry about memory, different motherboards support different amounts of memory. The HP motherboard only had 2 ram slots and the ASUS one has four so you could use more ram. Newegg says it supports up to 32GB. Hope this helps.
