Hello everyone. Just became a member on here and a proud owner of my very first PC build! I primarily use this as my primary recording studio computer/gaming/and some photo editing.

So the question and problem is: Everytime I try to enable "HD" mode in the bios it always prompts me with a "HD mode not compatible with current configuration" message. I'd like to obtain this mode because it's a great feature of the board. It allows you to see all the temps/cpu info and etc on the sides as well as having the main options in the center. After spending the money I have on this PC I feel I deserve this option! So....what the hell is going on?! And how do I fix it??

GPU to dvi-d connected to monitor. Intel graphics disabled. Pcie set to primary display.

Here's what I have(if this isn't important to my question than skip over haha)
Corsair Air 540
3 120mm Corsair High performance SP fans for intake
3 140mm Corsair Quiet AF fans for exhaust
Gigabyte Z87x UD3H
I7 4770K overclocked to 4.2 @ 1.076 volts
Noctua NHD14
Corsair Vengeance Pro 2x8 1866mhz
EVGA GTX 780 SC w/ ACX cooling
Corsair AX860i PSU
Samsung 840 Pro 128G&520G
WD Black 2TB HDD

Solution
Try plugging your monitor into the motherboard and see if it works then. Yes, I know, you aren't gonna want to keep it like that, but try it. Apparently some graphics card bioses don't work with it, and a lot of people have been having the same problem as you.

Can't do at the moment....but it's in the bios on the right hand set. "Resolution toggle" or I can also hit F6 to acquire the same thing. Neither work.
