Do you know if it supports a ethernet cable like i can fit one in but why do they also have the option to purchase a pc card that offer network adapters if it already comes with one

and do you know if this is built in wireless and would you have to install drivers for it to work

last question what exactly does pc card do like can it work with any pc slot that offers one?

anything answered would be good

Lol am I really that old? 56k modems used to use regular house phone lines to "call" and ISP and get internet via phone lines.

As far as the WiFi thing goes, you're probably much better off buying a USB WiFi dongle instead of an expansion card. Like this one:

They usually will come with a CD with drivers that you can install. Pretty painless setup. That particular one is like 40 bucks, I'm sure you can find a cheaper one if you look for more than 2 minutes.

just curious was does the modem do then since it says it is installed in your link it probably frm 2003 and how would you know which pc card fit which slot and how would i know i have wifi would i have to buy a pc card for it ? but u say it has ethernet right so there would i download a driver for this is so hard to find
