Asus video card not working with MSI motherboard

This is my 2nd time buying a Asus video(gtx 760) card for my computer. And it does not work with my msi motherboard. It turns on then 5 sec later it turns off and on then off etc.................. What am I doing wrong here I have all the cables in the right place. The only card that works is my msi gt 520.

Unless there's a problem with the GPU itself or the mobo (possible), it should work, I've had the Asus 760 in I don't know how many mobos, Asus, GB the Rock, and AMD and most all the current and some older sockets also (1156, 1366, 1155, 1150 2011, AM3, AM3+, etc) even worked fine in BioStar mobos

Asus does not work with MSI I just got msi gtx 760 oc and it works on the first try. So Asus and MSI don't work to gather then?
