To be honest it probably has a cheap, no name brand power supply that I would not trust to put out its rated wattage. You see a name brand or a model number on the sticker on the side of the PSU? Or an amp rating specifically 12v amps?

Yeah I found its 80 Plus certification. Looks like 40 amps on the 12v rail making it a 'real' 500w power supply. If it can put out what it's rated and I doubt that. It's made by a company called and no joke here : HAPPY MULTI-WEALTH TECHNOLOGIES. In my mind that translates to giant Chinese firecracker brand number 1!

In other words, I would not trust it to charge a battery. I certainly would not try loading it with a GTX 770.

Glad to help! :)

Stick with Corsair, Seasonic, PC Power and Cooling, XFX, Silverstone, Enermax, OCZ, Antec or the high efficiency Rosewill units for qualiy. I may have to add EVGA to the list as they are doing quite well with their new models as well.
