GPU 550ti Benchmark

First of all there are MANY ...MANY benchmarking programs out there so was it 3D Mark? Was it an in game one? Specify... :/
Secondly the 550ti can be either 1GB or 2GB respectively and both are very different in terms of performance...
A benchmark usually takes the pc as a whole so is your CPU, Ram the same as the ones they used?
You do know benchmarking sites use a controlled environment to test right?
That means they use the same CPU, RAM just different cards and that's how they measure the speed...
My bet is they either had it in a much faster system than yours OC'd it a little or their card was 2GB and yours is 1GB and you used a different program than what they used.
