Oh my, what can I say. Coming from 1080 I couldn't be happier.

This is the monitor http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00BUI44US/ref=sr_sp-atf_title_1_1?qid=1383116137&sr=8-1

Okay, well as anyone would be I was extremely worried since it's basically a knock off and from Korea. Has a warning for dead pixels etc.

Ran a dead pixel test on a array of colors and nothing, so extremely happy. Also no corner color bleeds, this monitor is a steal for 345$ including expedited shipping.

I was wondering if anyone had this monitor? Also I'm having a bit of trouble upping the refresh rate to 120hz, is this because of my outdated HD 5850 gpu?

Solution
I have that monitor, but I am running on a GTX 770 4GB. The monitor does work well and I have overclocked it to 120Hz with no issues whatsoever (using nvidia control panel). I think the safest bet will be the 290x as that 5850 will not have the horsepower to render games at that resolution.

Yea, I tried this but I also read my gpu is locked to 80 hz so I just don't know. I'll try again. I also read that these monitors come able to be over clocked by just going into the settings, which made me curious if my gpu is limiting it.

Are you going to game on this monitor? I don't know about the 5000 series being locked at 80Hz or if you can/how to break the driver, but a 5850 won't even be able to push pixels to a 1440p monitor at 60Hz, at least not in AAA stuff.

I bought 3 of these monitors actually and have them all at 110Hz. of the 3 only one of them could not reach 120 without that ugly line through the screen. and even then 110Hz is not to be laughed at

Try another DVI cable if you haven't already, mine can get a higher overclock on one cable than another.
