Hi

I have installed windows8 ( 64bit)to 128GB mSATA and I need to change default installation folder to another drive (from C:\Program Files to E:\Program Files and the same with Program Files (x86)) because of the lack of free space on mSATA. I did it through regedit (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion --> ProgramFilesDir) but after reboot, all shortcuts of applications which were installed on 'C:\Program Files' before changin default installation folder, were broken. Not only shortcuts at desktop, but also in the list of application.  How can I make that after changing default installation directory, shortcuts of applications Installed earlier would be working normally?

Thanks for help

Yes changing the registry for that is dangerous and not a good idea. You may want to change it back and just manually change the C to the D drive on the install path when you install the programs your self. Too many things can go wrong by changing it. Because then it thinks everything is installed on the D drive and not the C drive which is why nothing works.
