Need help with best motherboard to overclock i5-4670k

Hi, building my first gaming build and I'm not really sure which motherboard is a good option.

I am aware that the GPU will make the biggest impact with gaming, but have decided to overclock.

Will not be SLI/Crossfire ing so that feature is not necessary for the motherboard choice.

Does need to support DVI-D 1920x1080

Would like it to be cheaper than $150 (Australian dollars, buying parts from MWAVE) however if this is not achievable then i can go higher.

Feature wise are there any huge differences? Or more simply, which would recommend to be 'the best'?

Well only difference would number of sata ports, USB 3.0 ports, PCIE slots & on board audio.

But Asrock z87 extreme4 has 12 phase power design compared to 8 phase power design for rest of all. 12 phase helps in better overclocking

Well I have heard a lot of good things about the extreme4, so I guess it's worth the extra money.

    Yep. Totally worth it
  7. I would pay a little more and go up to at lest Asus - Maximus Hero or a MSI if your going over clock don't wimp out on the hardware or you be beating you head on the desk cause you can't get a stable OC.
