I have just receiver a slightly older monitor that i would like to connect to my desktop as a second monitor. Seeing as it is a older monitor it only has a VGA slot to connect it to but the ports off my graphics card doesnt have a VGA one so i tried connecting it to my Motherboards slot.
Does it have to be connected to my video card for it to work?
