I am on an Alienware MX17R4 and am having issues with my laptop graphics card.
I recently upgraded to Windows 8.1 . Upon installation of 8.1, my laptop decided to use the Intel Integrated HD 4000 instead of the Raedon 7960. When it was on 8.0, it would automatically use the Raedon card, even for the normal display. Also, the Catalyst Control Center would function.
I tried running StarCraft 2 today. It keeps using the Intel card. I have gone to the Catalyst Center, Selected StartCraft 2 and assigned it to High Performance, yet when loaded, will continue to use the Intel Card. The graphics are choppy and slow. I did not have this issue in Windows 8. I want to see if this is a Windows Issue, or Catalyst issue or if any gurus out there may have a solution. Thank you.
