"Display driver nvidia kernel mode driver stopped responding has successfully recovered". Never happens in game, but happens most of the time just a few seconds or so after I fully exit bf4.
4770k
gtx 680 sli
windows 8.1
maximus 6 hero motherboard
Mushkin blacklin 8 gigs
Nothing is overclocked.
In my year of using Windows 7 with my system, I have never once gotten the above error (everything was 100% rock stable and perfect). Which leads me to believe it's either Windows 8.1 issue and/or the 331.58/331.65 drivers. Both 331.58 and 331.65 are having this problem.
8.1 installed freshly new after formatting hd (3 days ago). Windows 8 detected and installed a semi old Nvidia driver version. The very first driver I installed myself (for the first time after installing 8.1 with all the updates) was 331.58, and then I installed 331.65 on top if it after that. I did nothing else.
Temps are amazing and good. Way below 75c when playing bf4 for hours (both the cards).
