The card I've got still just about holds its own but I've had to disable Vsync and push the settings up high to get a steady performance lately at roughly 45 to 60 fps. Drawback is screen tearing in cutscenes are driving me insane. (anyway around this other than reducing the quality??) been doing some Googling at the R9 280x, 7970 and 770.
Prices are making no sence at all, i think I paid about £200 at the time but I can't work out what its upgraded equivalent would be. Is that how this industry works or do I now have to spend £300 to get its equivalent?
I'm willing to spend up to £350 but hoping to spend nearer to £200.
Any help please?
Power supply is Ocz 750w with 2x8 pin and 2x6,which I've had 3 years and latest game is Arkham Origins.
