Good day folks last time i was here i asked for an low budget game pc and received alot of love ^^ Thanks again and this system is awesome even with intel hd 4600 i play Tera on high settings and Raiderz almost at highest.

Only problems are i need an gpu for pc games like Witcher and Dragon age and to be honest the cpu already draws 85W

I paid 530 euro for this system

Zalman Z11 Plus

XFX Core Edition PRO550W - ATX12V 2.2/ EPS12V 2.91 - 80 PLUS Bronze

Gigabyte Z87P-D3 - ATX - LGA1150

Intel Core i5 4670K / 3.4 GHz - 6 MB cache - LGA1150

Corsair Vengeance - 8 GB : 2 x 4 GB - DIMM 240-pins - DDR3 - 1600 MHz

Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo

And got highest bid of 400 euro on a market site, problem is i cant rebuild this system for that price with an i3core T or i5 T version.. so would the i3 and i5 core 35w work good on this mobo or bottleneck?

Solution

dont worry, those thing wont put too much on your electricity bill. if you still concern about it, get a hd 7790 or gtx 650ti boost. r7 250 wont get...

Hey Lee thanks but its the otherway around :) im thinkin about a low as possible tdp game pc using my system and replace my 4670k with an 4570t that would save 50w and buy a amd r7 serie gpu with 35w so i would stay under 100w in total.

To be honest (this might be blasphemy) im thinking its not possible to make a low tdp pc gamesystem .. i mean im using my WiiU for email and streaming sites already and got Zelda the windwaker this week ^^ its Awesome! and its only using 35w

maybe i need to wait a few years till the power consumption / performance is better for gpu and cpu ?

why do you want to have a low tdp system? a low tdp system cant run those game at high setting and you should not be worry about overall tdp. a truly low tdp system would be hd 7750 and a intel t series. still there is no reason for that since you have an excellent psu with plenty juices.

Sorry Lee i ried to reply before but i always have probs with this site on my WiiU..

Anyways i dont have the funds to pay the electric costs for a 200w system each month and the 4670k is 84w + 35w lcd screen + an r7 260 or 7850 = 235w or 250w

So could i play older games like fable and dragon age or even skyrim maxed with the 4670k + r7 250 or trade my cpu for an 4570t + r7 260 or 7850 or maybe the 7770 and 7790 serie

I mean would skyrim like the 4670k better cause its high speed quad core with a low end gpu or wont skyrim care about quad core and prefer dual with middle end gpu?

Modern computer components (i-series cpu and 7xxx series radeons in particular) idle at very low wattage.
With that fast cpu and a fast video card you're not going to idle at even half of 200W.

If you're really concerned about load power usage you can always underclock the computer ...
