Hi I am building my first Gaming PC. My budget is $1000 and I need a monitor, windows 8.1,an optical drive, and a wifi card. So far I am kind of stuck because I am not sure if a fx-6300 will bottleneck the r9-280x/7970 (I might choose the 7970 instead). I have read several forums, but they have conflicting reports. So should I change the CPU? I will be playing at 1080p, and playing battlefield 3/4, crysis 3, Call of duty, watch dogs, metro last light, and BioShock. So will the system bottleneck

Solution
crysis 3 at max settings is running at 75% at my 8320. so a 6 core might have some problems at special parts.
also new games are optimized for 8 cores, so for 20$ bucks more u get way more power.
go with the 8320
