im building a new gaming pc. I was about to buy an AMD FX -6350 3.4 Ghz allthough i figure out that there is no need to buy a kickass cpu as much as you need a kickass GPU. So i end up in buying the AMD Athlon x4 750k 3.4 ghz it is capble of future gaming or it will bottleneck my gpu?

Depending on AMD future plans socket AM3+ processors may no longer be made or updated.
FM2 is slated to updated/upgraded with FM2+ in 2014 to support the new Kaveri core processors and these might be usable in an FM2 motherboard with a BIOS flash

tnx for the reply. So you think that in future gaming there is no hope for athlon? for example i want to play rome total war 2 that is not only a cpu intesive game it also has heavily graphic requirements what do you think can the athlon made out with this game?

Could not have said it better.
But for an inexpensive gaming pc build with a discrete card your still getting a decent cpu for the money.
