Hey guys, ive been reading forums on this site for as long as I can remember, and more so lately as I just built my first rig since I was a teen. I got a great bundle deal from new egg that saved me $200 for very comparable parts I had picked myself.
I'd like to know what to expect gaming wise from this build, and im done with budget now but some tips on what to upgrade or add next when I have the cash flow would be appreciated.
I'd be playing First Person Shooters like Call of Duty, Battlefield, and Borderlands. I also use this as my livingroom media center, have it hooked up to my 65" led, and we stream Netflix and hulu (ditched cable a year or so back), and I have about 3 tb worth of ripped dvd/blurays saved on an few externals. I use my laptop for AutoCAD and Solid Works but im sure I will end up installing and using that on this rig as well.

Rosewill REDBONE case (not what I wanted but for bundle price I get it)
Amd Fx-8350
Asus M5A97 motherboard (has overclocking software and sli/crossfire support)
XFX Radeon HD 7870 Boost OC Edition 3gb ddr5
Rosewill 700W psu (sli/crossfire ready)
Samsung dvd burner
Corsair 8gb ddr3 1888 ram
Seagate barracuda 1tb 7200
Corsair hydro H90
*total bundled price came to $750 plus $145 coming back in rebates
I added windows 8, wireless mouse/keyboard, xbox controller, power cable, and an additional 120mm fan

I wanted a i5 new haswell k series but otherwise every other component was almost identical except intel board vs amd and such. and the graphics I had chosen were the 650 ti boost, but even shopping for sale and rebate items my almost identical build came to $915 after rebates.

Again thanks to any who look and greater thanks ahead of time for any of your input.
