While helping me finally set up a WIFI system on my computer, my ISP techies found that my "driver
version 15.4.0.11 does not support intel proset wireless wifi software version 14.0.1.0". It's a 1 yr
old Dell Inspiron laptop that I use as a desktop. I called Dell as they suggested only to have them
demand at minimum a $129 one-time fee for assistance. No way. Since I know nothing of and have never
used WIFI, and don't tinker with drivers, I can only assume that the mismatch arrived with my computer
when I bought it last year. 1) What does the phrase specifically mean, and 2) what software (and from
where) can I download or purchase it to correct the mismatch?
