Hi,

If you only replaced your cpu and you get BSOD, you most likely have a faulty cpu or incompatible with your motherboard (BIOS update).

What's your motherboard, was the cpu used ?
If you put back your old cpu, does windows boot properly!

hit F8 on start up. Select Disable automatic restart on system failure. and at the bottom it will give a stop code. post back what it says.

Hmmm kinda generic but seems to be a driver issue most likely. have you tired putting in the old CPU and see if it boots?

Not quite sure why its giving that error on a CPU upgrade.

Just for shits and giggles you can try going into Device manager and uninstall all the Processors. Then shut down. Swap them. And start back up. Doubt that will work but hey ya never know

Did you delete the CPU or did you just give it one more try and it booted lol. Computers are weird and honestly sometimes they just won't work at time. I use to talk to me. I use to threaten that i was going to scrap it. Then it would work XD
