I haver noticed the price of the i7 3770k at best buy last week was 319.99 Cdn. now 339.99...Also on newegg it has gone up like 30 dollars. I am in a dilema because I am still on the fence about using the Haswells. I know there is a performance boost of about 10% and a new instruction set. But I am not quite sold. There are the reasons I prefer Ivy Bridge. One being that I already own an LGA 1155 socket MB and the others are probably what others have been saying. Also the 1150 socket z8z MB's have made it possible and necessary to have an Integrated VRM on the CPU. And there are rumors that Broadwell will go back to hving that on the MB which would require a new chipset I imagine so with these thoughts going through my mind someone sell me on why I should get a haswell please...

What is your current motherboard? Many P67/Z68/Z77 models support them. So do some of the older non overclocking chipsets. With just a bios update, either my P67 extreme4 or Z77 extreme4 could use that CPU. Considering one for my P67 board for Folding @ Home.

Even though that is a Xeon CPU do you need a server Motherboard or can you use a Z77 MB? otherwise that is a great price.
