I am picking parts for a build on scan.co.uk and for the cpu i picked is an AMD FX 6350. When I looked at am 3+ motherboards, it says "For the AMD FX Series CPU's, the motherboard will require a BIOS update. "

Basically Is it hard to do?

It depends on the motherboard.
ASUS boards that feature the Flashback allow you to update the BIOS even if the CPU is not supported.
Other boards depend on the manufacture date for supporting the CPU.

and what about ASRock ??
i mean, i can use FX-8350 with ASRock 970 Extreme 4 but what if i need to update bios ?
Will it start atleast to update bios ??
or can i flash bios without using supported cpu ? via USB ?

If the board let's say was manufactured in 2012 and doesn't come with the right BIOS, then you can order a BIOS chip from ebay and replace the board's one (it's on socket).
You can't flash the BIOS on this board without a supported CPU.

:(  okay.
so which are the motherboards that supports FX-8350 directly , i.e. on default bios ?
motherboards like 970 or 990FX series ?
Price approximately near to ASRock 970 Extreme 4 , or just a little bit higher will be ok :)

Directly support, in the same price range, none AFAIK.
I suggest M5A97 R2.0 from ASUS. It features Flashback and you can flash the BIOS if it is too old to support the CPU.
It's hard to believe though that in 2014 you'd get a board manufactured in 2012. But... not impossible.
