Hey guys

I just bought a Powercolour R9 280X Radeon brand new today, ordered it barely 24h ago which was awesome. But here's the thing:

I was upgrading from an Nvidia GTX 660 and I had no problem, on that card, overclocking my monitor to 120hz. It didn't even blink at 120, it just worked perfectly. So now today... I install my brand new card, had a mysterious power issue but fixed it, and now I've got all the latest drivers unfortunately there's one thing lacking.

60Hz. I'm locked at 60Hz. When I use C.R.U to jack it up to 120 it just freaks out and there's nothing I can do about it. In fact it won't even overclock 1 single lousy hz.

I'm extremely disappointed here. Can anyone throw some light on this? It's a fairly interesting test case for other people out there considering buying a R9 280X, to have to go from 120hz right back down to 60 because the damn card can't handle it.

Yours disappointedly

Chris
