I am planning to buy Sapphire AMD/ATI HD 7770 1 GB GDDR5 Graphics Card. Is this card worth buying to play modern games and games upto 2 years in future at 1600 X 900 resolution. I don't mind keeping down the resolution a bit. My System specs are.

CPU: Intel® Core™ i5-2400 CPU @ 3.10GHz
RAM: Zion 4GB DDR3 1333MHz
MoB: ASUS P8H61-M LX
OS: Windows 7 Basic 32 Bit
PSU: Corsair VS550 550 Watt PSU

Yes it is for the right price. Of course the better the GPU you get the longer it will last.

Thanks, i'm a bit tight on the budget. This gpu is the best i can get within 8k INR, but i'm a bit concerened about the CPU and the 4 gigs of RAM. Will that be enough to get the best out of this card?

CPU can handle the strongest cards so no problem, for 64bit OS the norm is to recommend 8GB ram but 4GB will still handle gaming well very few titles benefit from more and mostly load times would be affected.

Thanks, one last thing. Do you suggest I upgrade to a 64 bit OS (inspite of having 4 gigs of RAM). Will that make a huge difference in performance?

Windows OSs are ridiculously pricey over here in India :??:  so need to know its worth upgrading or not.

With 4 GB I would stick with 32 bit since 64 bit will do very little or nothing performance wise, the current real benefit of 64bit is the capability to address more memory.

It is a great card, have the Visiontek version slightly overclocked and it handles games well, actually think my dual core is holding it back a bit.
