Changing cpu for a cheaper cpu

I wanted to know if there was anyway i could change out the cpu or any other component but still get the same performance.

Solution
The GPU with a modern good CPU will drive the performance. You can swap to a cheaper I5 none K and not notice the difference or you can go AMD FX8350 on a AM3+ board and do the same.
Try to find a HD7970 that is on sale. It is the same card as the 280x anyway, and from what I have seen they are cheaper with the price drops/specials. A 280x is just a rebranded HD7970 anyway.

You may also be able to get a better quality PSU in a 550w XFX unit, and it may be a little bit cheaper. XFX units are made by Seasonic, so they are of great quailty.
