My system specs are:
AMD FX 6300 @stock 3.5GHZ
Motherboard: Asrock n68c gs-fx
GPU: XFX R7870
RAM: Kingston Hyperx 8gb 1600mhz.
So I received my cooler Master Hyper T4 today and installed it using the thermal paste that came in the package. Before installing this cooler I had the stock cooler and I was getting these temps:
Idle : 30-34 C
Full load using prime95: 60-63 C

Now using this aftermarket cooler I get these temps:
Idle: 28-32 C
Full load using prime95: 48-51 C

So is my cooler working as it should ? Maybe I applied too much thermal paste or not a good one ?

well the T4 is better than the stock cooler obviously dropped ur load temps by 12c, but its basically a thinner version of the hyper 212 evo/+. So either thats how it performs, or u may have not cleaned the old paste off to well, or if paste didnt come pre applied then applied too much or too little, or the cooler didnt seat well. If u have some extra paste then id try taking it off and seeing whats the problem, but current temps seem fine if u dont have paste to re apply at this very moment.

I already did that causr I had some thermal paste around and it didnt change anything. You think this cooler can perform better than this? I didnt go for the hyper 212 evo because it wouldnt fit in my case ( fractal design core 1000)
