Hi...Im planing to buy an i7 4770k processor for all my video editing needs. Heres my idea of my future comp.

Processor - i7 4770k

RAM : Corsair 8 Gb

Hard drive : Samsung SSD 250 GB and
WD 2 TB

Motherboard :- ASUS H87 PRO
or Gigabyte Z87HD3 (Im confused about this because my main focus is video editing with some gaming on the side. I havent OC'd an MB before. So what do you guys recommend here )

Power Supply :- Corsair or Coolermaster (Again confused) do I need 650W or 750W?

Casing :- Thermaltake

Cooler:- Coolermaster

GPU:- I heard Nvidio quadro series is better for video editing. Is this true?

Solution
I would recommend more memory for video editing if it is a main use of the machine, also a second small SSD as a scratch drive helps a lot. I would not spend the money on a quadro GPU, as the models that are actually useful are quite costly. 650W is plenty for a single GPU. If you want a full ATX Z87 board I would consider ASRock over Gigabyte, although I generally use ASUS in my builds -- they are more expensive.
Go with at least a 16GB RAM kit & 650W of power should be plenty.

The quadro cards have error correction(fully buffered) RAM and the drivers have been optimized for this type of work. The important thing is to check your application's hardware compatibility list first, to determine which GPU you should be hunting for.

OK guys based on your answers I have tweaked my options

Processor - i7 4770k

RAM : Corsair 16 Gb

Hard drive : Samsung SSD 250 GB and
WD 2 TB ( 2 SSD's are beyond my budget so I had to cancel that idea)

Motherboard :- ASUS H87 PRO

Power Supply :- Corsair 650W

Casing :- Thermaltake

Cooler:- Coolermaster

GPU:- nvidia 650 ti (I cancelled the quadro coz of price)

Also I think I need a UPS? Sometimes people play with the main switch and trip the power lines. With the laptop it always has a battery but in this case I might end up crashing my hard drive. So my doubts are :-

1) Which brand of UPS is the best?
2) Is my system future proof enough?

Your system looks fine and should work well for you.

I stick with APC UPSs -- I usually use THIS model on computers like you are building, although it may be a bit more than you want to spend. The Power Chute monitoring software that will auto shutdown your system at a determined time is quite good and comes with all the models. Try to get it on sale, especially with Black Friday/Cyber Monday time coming.
