Hey i will be buying my new gaming pc in a few days. I'm wondering which of the two motherboards i should go with. I've heard that asus are better and i was going to go with that but the msi one comes with a free cooler master Seidon 120M Water Cooler!!!

So whats your opinion. there around the same price...btw I will have an i7 4770k so I'm guessing having that water cooler will do me good!!!

It looks like it was MSI vs MSI which isn't really a competion.

However,if you are talking about OCing, the current world record holder is Asus with some ~9 GHz OC on a AMD cpu.

Asus z87-A is far much better than the msi z87-G45.

But also don't forget the MSI board has integrated Sound Blaster Cinema and Killer Ethernet while the z87 A doesn't have either features. Both these features on the MSI board are beneficial in gaming.

although

MSI's boards have some QC issues

I would personally go with the Asus Z87-A to be safe

but i still cant handle the fact that i would be getting a 50 euro cooler master liquid cooler for free with the msi mobo!!! and i would also save about 35 euro!!!

I said "beneficial" not essential
ben·e·fi·cial
adjective
1.
favorable or advantageous; resulting in good.

And what I'm pointing at is essential plus points of the asus mobo:
adjective
1.
absolutely necessary; extremely important

I have an MSI MB that I am very happy with and MSI has excellent support, in my opinion.

I'll agree with others, I won't touch MSI mobos for builds, as is have to many problems with them trying to fix tham, and end up having to replace with Asus, the Rock of GB, and if the liquid cooler is a H80 or lower would be better off with a Hyper 212 EVO anyway

Anyway we still both agree the Asus z87-A is the better choice

After a BIOS update my haswell temps dropped with the MSI GAMING 45. Im not sure but I think the ASUS board has the old ALC889 audio as compared to ALC1150 on other boards.
As far as that record goes. How you going to talk about AMD OCs when their clearly going with Intel. If you go ASUS, get a ROG board,

problem is i can get Z87-K, Core i7-4770K, 16GB Vengeance Pro 2400MHz & Corsair H75 Cooler for 620 bundle deal or i could go the msi g45 , i5 and a cpu cooling fan and ram for 540 for the 80 difference i dont mind is the better cpu bundle a better choice overall i know i7 isnt necessary for gaming but would it run better for the future i have r9 r280x toxic already bought opinion?

Why buy an i7 when an i5 will prolly suit your purposes adequately? Likewise, why buy 16 GB of RAM when most ppl only need 8 GB? All of this with a lesser featured MB. The 620 bundle doesn't make much sense to me.
