Hi guys. Im new to pc building and I have a question regarding a pc im putting together. On my old pc I added a GPU to a prebuilt HP Desktop. It wasnt that great of a card although it did support some directX 9 games. It was an ATI Radeon HD 2400 XT.Well anyway. In my new build I am gonna be running an AMD A10 Trinity APU with a fairly descent MoBo. My question is. Would it even make a difference to put my old video card in this new setup or would I just be wasting wattage with no real performance increase?

Your APU is much better than the GPU you have.
There will be no use of that card as long as you are running A10 Trinity.

I had a feeling that was the case. Thank you.
