I'm having some trouble with my computer. The other day I tried to turn my computer on and nothing happened. No fans, no beeps, nothing. Figured it was the psu. Buy new psu and it works. Swap old psu in just for the heck of it. Computer starts with old psu. Computer working fine for a day or two. Won't turn on again. Try disconnecting and reconnecting everything but nothing works. It's the not the case switch. I did the psu trick where it starts if you bridge two I the pins and the fan started up. Hook it back up to motherboard and nothing happens. I don't know if it makes a difference but when the computer is hooked up the light on my mouse blinks. It's hooked into the USB port on the back of the mobo. Is this definitely a mobo problem? I don't have a motherboard speaker or multimeter. Is there something that is preventing the motherboard to allow the computer to start up?

as you said you bought a new PSU so thats out of the equation .

Try isolating . Remove the VGA card . if theres no beeps. go on further

Then remove the rams . and if theres no beeps remove the Disc drives and any pin heads. if still nothng beeps remove the Hard drive . if nothing beeps

it maybe your motherboard or your processor thats damaged/broken/dead

try using a different processor. if still doesnt work then your motherboard is good for scrap. hope this helps
