I noticed everything was lagging when i tried playing Bf3. I checked my usage and it was as high as 95 % with nothing running. I have 2-4 chrome tabs open, a lol client without the game open and skype. How can these programs be using 7000MB of RAM ? There are 0 free MB !?

There are 80 preccesses running, is this a problem ? Should i turn some of them off ? if so witch ones ? http://i.imgur.com/b9EMUo1.png

They simply are.

Make sure to click "Show processes from all users" to see all the processes, some of them might be running under administrator and you cannot see them without clicking that first. Also, try closing Chrome.

If you keep dozens of tabs open, that's most likely the issue. For lots of tabs, Firefox is better (I have 45 tabs, 1.2GB RAM). For a low amount of tabs, go for Chrome.

That is simply impossible, if it says the programs are running and using a maximum of 1500MB of RAM, HOW can they be using 7000MB !? closing tabs wont change the fact that there is a 6000MB load from nothing ?

Make sure that you don't have anything random opening at startup. As Kelthar said you should check if any other users have stuff open. Otherwise, you should do a scan for viruses incase there's something else using all your RAM...

Also, if you disabled pagefile, consider re-enabling it.

You have a ridiculously high memory usage but a low commit charge: that is, they're using more RAM than they need.

Why? Multiple reasons, from caching to pre-emptive loading. Now, since you're saying you're lagging and that it's because of RAM, then it can't be any form of pre-emptive loading since those kinds are set to immediately drop should the RAM be needed.

Also, run an anti-virus scan.
