Hey im thinking about getting COD2 for my crappy pc. I would want to play the multiplayer but I want to know if anyone still plays it. Thanks

To be honest I really doubt it. I recommend you buying Battlefield 2 instead. I know for a fact that that game still has quite the player-base. And I think you should be able to play BF2 on a crappy PC.
