Hi,

Recently (and mostly while playing games), my mouse has been disconnecting for a couple of seconds and then reconnecting, playing the disconnect/reconnect sound each time. Occasionally this affects both my USB headset and keyboard which are also plugged into the rear USB ports; the keyboard will stop working (all LEDs remain on) and the headset will start crackling and not producing any other sound.

I have tried setting the USB Root Hub to not allow the PC to set it to sleep mode to save power, is there another possible problem or is one of the components in need of replacement?

Mouse: Logitech MX518
Keyboard: Logitech G11
Headset: Microsoft Lifechat LX3000
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-Z77-DS3H
CPU: i7 3750k

bump, once the mouse completely stops responding unplugging/reconnecting it to the rear port doesn't fix it, connecting it to the front port gets it working again but it still occassionally disconnects/reconnects

leaning towards it being the mouse but why would the other rear-usb-connected components freeze at the same time when the mouse does at times?
