Two 7870 in Crossfire are much more powerful than a single GTX 780/Titan.
Ok, would it be just the same? I was thinking about getting a 780 for a 3D Screen and glasses. Price is no problem for me. I would like to know if there would there would be a noticeable difference if I got a 780 than both of my 7870's? Also, isn't it possible to use my 7870 (1, not both) with my single 780? Hybrid Crossfire or something?
1-You can use the gtx 780 and the 7870 in one machine depending on your operating system, if it can run/accomodate 2 different drivers (usually either a pair of NVIDIA or a pair of AMD, and not AMD-NVIDIA), however these cards in the same machine will not be called SLI or Cross fire as they will not work together. One card can be used for browsing and some minor stuff, while the other can be used for gaming and editing (on two different screens). But IMO it's a useless thing to do so. People do it because they hate to close their games just to check their email, which is a lame excuse
2-There will be no significant change rather than few drops in the frame rate if you upgrade to a GTX 780 (as I have mentioned before 7870 Cross fire is much more powerful than the GTX 780 alone).
3. 7870 has the following feature :
AMD HD3D technology
Stereoscopic 3D display/glasses support
Blu-ray 3D support
Stereoscopic 3D gaming
3rd party Stereoscopic 3D middleware software support
