First before i get to the point, i must apologize if i make any grammatical mistakes, English isn't my first language, and i'm still learning.
------------------------------------------------------
Anyways, in october 28, came a new Nvidia GeForce update, and i of course installed it. Everything was going great, nothing usual, screen flashing etc.
But, at the end, a small pop-up came from the bottom right screen.
It was a message from ''Intel rapid storage'' that it found a new hard drive, i clicked on it and there was written that something was 0 Gb, well everything in it was zero. Then i though that it was just a glitch and I restarted my computer. ( by the way i have 2 hard disk drives)
First when it booted, i noticed that it was a lot slower than usual, i had to wait a minute or so ( usually its about 10 sec) Well i though that it was a part of the installation process, ok.
Everything loaded and then i checked ''my computer'' if everything was alright,
and i noticed that for some reason there was only one hard drive, my second one was missing.
I started to worry a bit and i didn't check anything but just restarted my computer again, and i though that this was just a glitch or something.
It booted again, slowly, but luckily this time it found the other disk drive and i though that everything was fine.
Eventually i started noticing that my computer is ''not responding'' and getting slower, booting time was up to two minutes and programs kept ''not responding'' it was (and still is) driving me crazy!
I tried to uninstall Nvidia but nothing changed, i though that i might have a virus, i scanned my computer, but nothing was found, i uninstalled drivers for my hard disk - nothing changed.
When programs were ''not responding'' i checked the ''task manager'' and the D disks active time was 100% but Disk transfer rate was at 0% ( its hard to explain). I don't understand why is that happening!
I had an idea, i disabled my hard disk drive D and restarted, and guess what, everything worked perfectly!
But my D drive has 2TB of memory and its basically my main drive so i need to use it alot, but i can't because its ''not responding'' almost all the time and i cannot understand why after one simple update suddenly my hard disk drive isn't working properly, when every test and programs says that it does??

could been bad timing and the drive is dying. run hdtune read the drive smart warnings and run a drive vendor test tool. on some mb make sure the drive on the intel or amd sata ports. some mb have 3 party sata ports.
check with the mb guild see if sata port three is used for other stuff on some mb plugging in a sound card or wireless card can some times turn off one of the sata ports. look to see how the drive is connected to the power supply. could be there to many devices plugged on that power lead and it showing up as drive not working right. (same goes for low watage power supply) newer drivers may made a flaky ps fail on you. check to see if the hard drive vendor has any firmware updates.
check the mb vendor for bios and mei firmware and mei drivers updates.

I think you might be right and my Hard drive is dying, because i am trying to run hdtune and basically it responds for a few seconds and then stops responding at all for about 2 minutes and again one second response and then stop...
i'm not sure if there's any point of doing any of these tests, and waiting for programs to respond.
Luckily i bought it only 3 months ago and it still has warranty, so i might just go and change it.
What do you think, is there any hope for my hard drive?
