Hi - I'm looking to get a PC game but I'm not sure what game to get. I like role playing games like SIMS but I get bored because they aren't challenging enough. I used to love the old DOS game called Magic the Gathering.
I like growing and improving my hero or city. I don't like really complicated and in depth games that will take me forever to learn or beat. I don't like first person shooter games or online games like WOW.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
Sarah

If you have a good computer with decent graphics.

Dragon Age Origins
Skyrim
Mass Effect 1, 2 and 3 - A shooter series yes but has the best storyline of any video game series ever. A must if you like sci fi.
Civilization V
The Walking Dead
Portal
Portal 2

An older computer.

Oblivion - Prequel to Skyrim. Same world.
Morrowind - Prequel to Oblivion. Same world. Older 2003 graphics but playable on almost any computer.
Civilization IV

Just a few of my favorites :)

Go old school and try Baldur's Gate (great dialogue). Final Fantasy 7 has a new version on steam also making it compatible with modern hardware.

It's hard to recommend you a game since you haven't given us much to go by. Maybe consider stopping by http://gameslikefinder.com/ and trying to find a game similar to one you've already played?

They have a list of games like The Sims or you could try out on of their strategy game sections.
