Solution
This is me going off you selling the rest of the rig, with a slight over budget, but if you can tell me the rest of your PC and a budget I can make another me suited to you.

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks

CPU: Intel Core i5-4670K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor ($219.98 @ OutletPC)
Motherboard: MSI Z87-G41 PC Mate ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($99.99 @ Amazon)
Memory: Crucial Ballistix 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($59.99 @ Newegg)

That can't be upgraded without the CPU bottlenecking the GPU or the GPU bottlenecking the CPU. Can you tell what the rest is, PSU, Case and OS? I'll make you a build for $500. Might want to sell that old rig for $150 and put it towards the budget.
