Guys,
Another strange situation. I needed to update my BIOS after a CPU upgrade. I had never done this before but read up on it and it looked easy. I downloaded the correct version to my hard drive, rebooted into bios, selected Flash, selected hard drive and the system said no hard drive found. I tried to ESC out of it but could not. I could find no way out. There was a selection <F10> to turn off. I did that.
Now when my system boots up I get a message like "Input Signal out of Range - Change Screen Resolution to 1920X1080. After a few seconds the windows screen appears and all is Ok.
So, I no longer see any of the start up screens or selections to enter BIOS, Safe Mode ect. After a few seconds the first display is the Win7 Welcome Screen.
This is a new one on me.
Thanks!
