bios show 14v on 12v rail, cuasing shutdown on startup

as the title says, the bios is showing that my 12v is running with 14v. When I check with my voltmeter, it says around 12v +- 5%.

So the 12 V rail is correct. But my pc shutdown between 5 sec - 5 min (shutdown in bios and windows).

My PSU is a brand new "Corsair HX850". Motherboard is a "Asus p6t deluxe v2".
I have tested with another PSU that shows 12 V in bios and do not causing shutdowns.

Do anyone have a solution for this?

Thank you :) (sorry for bad english)

  1. have you check the cpu power plug 12v to see if it 12v or higher???
