Going from Z77 to X79

Hey guys, I currently have a Asus Maximus V Extreme along with i7 3770K and a single GTX 780, for some reason I'm extremely tempted to buy the new upcoming Asus Rampage IV Black Edition along with a new Ivy bridge 4930K. will it be worth it this late in 2013? should I wait for the next gen X99 chipset? I just want some opinion if you guys were in my shoes.

I mostly just use it for Gaming... So what you guys think? is it better to wait it out for next gen then? my only issue is, I always use X chipset for my builds before and this time around I decided to go Z77 from X58 but now I feel I bad for not choosing X79 but then again it's kinda late as X79 came out in 2011.
