I went and bought a game bundle from gamefly (very good deals) but the whole gamefly client has given me nightmares. First, it took forever to download the games, then finally after downloading, It wouldn't let me log in to activate it. Finally after a few days, I managed to install the games. I immediately uninstalled the client and swore never to buy any games from gamefly again despite the promos.

But it's still giving me trouble even when it's been uninstalled. Everytime I boot up my PC, the client pops up.. I have searched all my computer files, checked the control panel, and even ran a program to try to find the client but every time there is zero trace of the client.. Can anyone help with me. I've ran both malwarebytes and avast, and my computer has zero virus.

IT'S A GFWL CLONE!!1! RUN!

This is a case where Revo Uninstaller will come and help. Works perfectly for me and removes all traces of the programs I choose to remove: http://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_free_do...

It seems that there is a portable version, never seen that before but that'll come in handy.

No worries man, it's not a virus. Games for Windows - Live (GFWL) is a DRM from Microsoft known for how bad it is. You'll have a hard time even re-/uninstalling it. It's not a virus. Download and Run Revo Uninstaller and you'll see you can remove the Gamefly client. Be sure so do a deep scan of the program (I think it's called that) so all register-keys are removed too.
