I have a latest ultrabook which is having following specification
1) Intel i5 Processor
2) 4GB RAM on-board (I mean RAM is in built to motherboard)
3) 180 GB SSD harddisk
4) InBuilt intel graphics
5) micro hdmi

Few days back i have updated the Intel (ME+BIOS) combo firmware after which system never boots up, no screen, no bios, no beep, total black out.

I have executed following steps to recover from above problem but none of them helped me out

1) Plug out the battery, perform the hard reset for 30-40 second, then insert the power cable and then boot.
2) remove the CMOS battery for 4-5 hours, disconnect all the peripherals then boot
3) remove the ssd then boot
4) try to connect the other monitor through ultrabook micro-HDMI, but nothing comes on other monitor too
5)Could not able to remove RAM since it is on-board.

There is no sign of hope for me now.
Could anybody please help me in get rid of above problem, ultrabook does not have guarantee

Thanks
Santosh

Why would you not post the brand and model number of the device? Is it used or new? How about an OS version? Does the drive activity light blink when you try to boot? In general it sounds like you flashed the incorrect bios version and may have bricked the device. GL

it is laptop from intel only. OS is windows 8.1. Laptop does not have drive blinking led. The BIOS that i had flashed was from intel only for that particular device.
It might have bricked the device .
Does somebody has any idea to recover?

Sorry never heard of Intel making a laptop. Really I do not care. If you do not want to give information it is your call. If there is no drive activity you are most likely out of luck. Where did you download the bios from? Often the generic bios available from the Intel site will be modified to suit the needs of a manufacturers hardware. Since you refuse to give the brand and model of your hardware and considering what you describe I am done with ideas. Perhaps the device will make a good paperweight or doorstop. GL
