GPU Help!!! Which one?!?!?!?

if only playing at 1080p, the 2gb vram on the 770 will be enough for all current games at ultra settings. Some recent games like crysis 3 or bf 4 can potentially use more than 2gv bram at 1440p depending on in-game settings, most games would be fine though. It is possible that future games may use more vram, but you can turn down settings like texture detail, draw distance and AA to reduce memory useage. the 3gb on the 7970/280x should be good for 1440p resolution and for a few years to come, although it will start to struggle performance-wise before the 3gb vram barrier is broken i would think. Absolute performance between the 2 cards is negligible, trading blows depending on game/settings. As stated, gsync requires a compatible...

Why the GTX 770 its limited by the 2GB Momory and you can't use g-sync with out a special monitor and the XFX 7970 is benchmarked behind both the GTX 770 and R9 280X the only thing that is the lifetime warrenty. Im not shooting down the GTX 770 i just want to know why that one.

As stated, gsync requires a compatible monitor, so only make it a deciding factor if you plan to get one of those monitors. If you do, then i think for g-sync alone, it's absolutely worth it. G-sync makes playing at lower FPS still butter smooth and not such an issue anymore, so real-world performance/smoothness would be greater than the 280x/7970. Mantle will only be available in a few titles and its yet tom be tested/released for us to know what kind of performance benefits you would see.
