-Intel duo 3.16GHz
-4gb ram
-Radeon 6970, around 2 years old
-750w power supply

Well around 24 hours ago my pc was running great, i was playing garrysmod which should be pretty easy for a radeon 6970, then my gpu crashed i didn't think anything of it and restarted my pc, started garry's mod up and i straight away crashed just on the loading screen. I restarted my pc etc this time monitoring the heat of my gpu and it didnt go above 65c with the fans on 70% but it still just crashed, anyway i cleaned out my gpu and found a heap of dust thinking to myself this is definitely the problem but then my gpu still just crashes when starting up any game [i get a random coloured background with horizontal lines going through it]. I completely un-installed my drivers with driver sweep, then installed the latest drivers for my gpu and i still just crash each time, not sure what to do now.

No i don't, i will test out my GPU on my brothers rig somtime tomorrow, if it is the Power supply, which one would you recommend i get, preferably one that if i wanted to upgrade my rig it would still be able to handle it.
