Hello, so I have a FX-6300 and I would like to overclock it to 4Ghz at least if not more. I know that this cpu has turbo core but you cannot control it.

So what would I have to do to overclock, just increase voltage and multiplier?
Run Prim95 and test temperatures?

My specs are:
OS- Windows 7 64 Bit
Motherboard- Gigabyte 78LMT USB 3
Graphics Card: GTX 650 1GB
RAM- RIPJAWS 8GB
CPU- AMD FX 6-CORE Black Edition 3.3Ghz

Solution
Disable CnQ, C1E, APM, and SVM. Enable HPM.

Up the multiplier, run P95, check vcore and temps... if no errors repeat.

If you get an error either up the vcore or lower your multiplier.

Make sure you look up what temps and voltage your cpu can take. If your vcore is dropping under load you can turn on Load Line Calibration to compensate for it it, be wary because it can jump past your vcore setting. Overvolting you CPU will fry it.
