Can I use Cold Cathodes on this?? Please help

Solution
You need 680V to run those CCL's. Six hundred and eighty volts. Only the inverter can supply this to your CCL's. Your PSU cannot deliver this on it's own, neither can the Lamptron.

FYI, there are CCL's that have built-in inverters. You could connect this type directly to the Lamptron switch. However, the ones you have require the stand- alone inverter to operate.

Wont the cathode's be powered from the Lamptron unit itself as its being plugged into the psu?

The PSU doesn't supply the correct voltage: the CCL's run at 680V, which it gets from the inverter.

Sorry, what I meant was the Lamptron unit is connected to the PSU using a molex connection and deliver 60w out per channel. Would I not take the cathode (molex)-->some how convert it to 3pin --> into the Lamptron unit delivering 5v or 12v out.

or am i way off?
I apologize, im not very good with these things.
