Hi all

I've had a MSI GTX 760 Twin FrozR DRAGON for around 3 months now. In the last month or so it is increasingly having an issue where the fans spin up to full for minutes at a time whilst it the gpu still on low temps. It goes up for a few minutes every 10 minutes or so so is painfully loud and noticable as two 100mm fans spin to 3000 RPM.

Looking at GPUZ it appears that the temperature is still low, and the sensor for fan speed shows no change even as the RPM goes full: http://gpuz.techpowerup.com/13/10/31/e7n.png

Can anyone think of a reason why the card is spinning up like this? Also, can anyone recommend why the fan speed (%) sensor cannot see this change compared to the RPM sensor?

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the latest driver - Geforce R331.65 - to no effect. I have also had a brief look for dust/damages on the card itself but found nothing obvious.

System Specifications:
Intel i5 3570k
Motherboad: Asus P8z77-Pro
MSI GTX 760 Twin FrozR DRAGON
Graphics driver: Geforce R331.65 (28/10/2013)

Cheers
-Al
