I am getting ready to build a new system to go in my Semi truck. It really needs to be durable as there is a lot of bumps, road shock and dust while driving. I use my computers for GPS function, gaming, office work and entertainment. Here are some components I have chosen.

Case Cooler Master Haf-XB
Motherboard: Asus Sabertooth Z87
CPU: I7 4770K
Ram: Corsair Dominator Platinum 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 1600
CPU Cooler: ARCTIC Freezer i30 with Delta high speed Fan @120 CFM
Video: Asus GTX650TIB
Drive 1: Samsung 840 Pro 256GB
SSD
Drive 2: WD 2TB Cavier Black
Optical: Pioneer 15X BD/DVD/CD
Reason for case selection is that MB can lay flat and not vertical. If any one can see any problems with this build please advise on making it better. I do plan on a better vid card later but for now that is what is in my budget. Thanks for any replies.

Not bad, I highly suggest getting rid of the SSD or reducing the capacity and putting whatever's left into a better video card, also unless your GPS function is quite heavy (I'm not sure), just settle for 8GB of RAM, you will barley notice the difference

Thanks for you input. The GPS barley uses any system resources.
One of the main reasons for the 16gb of ram is for the use in Adobe cs6.
As for the SSD drive goes I feel it is more reliable in a truck environment and less susceptible to the road bumps.
I do plan on upgrading the vid card at a latter date to a GTX 770.
