So I am in the market for a new Motherboard and CPU but I am unsure of what to get. I do not want to spend a fortune, but I want something that I know is going to outlast the next few years in performance for games. What would be a good combo to get that will total less than $400?

Here is my Current Setup:

OS: Windows 7 64 bit
CPU: AMD Phenom II x4 955
RAM: 12 GB Dual Channel DDR3 @ 666MHz (9-9-9-24)
Motherboard: MSI 870A-G54
GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 650 Ti 2GB
PSU: CORSAIR TX Series CMPSU-750TX 750W

I would greatly appreciate any suggestions and feedback I can get!

Thanks in Advance!

Might be worth getting something like an Intel i5 4670 (or 4670K, depending on whether you intend to overclock), along with an Asus Sabertooth or Asus Z87-Pro/Asus Z87-Plus

Although that would be nice, what is a good option for a budget of around $350-$400?

Sorry, typed in the currency converter wrong (I'm in the UK!!!) You could get a AMD FX 6350 and a GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3. I don't know if it is a typo but if your RAM is running @ 666mhz, it might be worth getting some faster stuff!!!
